Produktbeskrivning Infrared thermometer Testo 831: The newly developed infrared temperature measuring device, Testo 831, has been optimised in terms of measuring accuracy. The 30:1 optics mean that a measuring point of just 3.6 cm results from a measuring distance of 1 m. This means that smaller objects (for example, yoghurt cartons) can conveniently be measured from a distance. Thanks to 2-point laser marking, the diameter of the measuring circle is displayed exactly, thus eliminating measuring errors. With two measurements per second, the Testo 831 is so quick that scans can be carried out on pallets or in chiller cabinets in a matter of seconds. The user is able to programme an alarm threshold which will be continuously monitored during measuring and the device will acoustically and optically indicate if the limit is exceeded or fallen below (adjustable). Thus, defective products are identified quickly and simply. The large, clear display is illuminated, so that the values can also be read correctly in poor light (for example, in storage rooms). Typical applications are quick temperature tests during goods receipt, in chest freezers, in chiller cabinets or in production at butcher's shops, bakeries, grocery producers or supermarkets.
