Produktbeskrivning Intelligent stepper motor interface iSMIF: The intelligent stepper motor interface iSMIF allows the SMC-800 and SMC-1500 stepper motor control cards to be connected to the PC, as well as control of proprietary stepper motor end stages through the serial RS232 interface. This interface contains a microcontroller with driver software which directly generates the control signals for the SMC-800/SMC-1500 control cards, but can also produce the stroke and direction signals for standard stepper motor end stages. This allows any stepper motor control card to be driven independently of the PC operating system or PC software used. The stepper motor interface is designed so that it can be programmed using simple control commands. These commands are saved in the 64 kB data storage and processed sequentially. This means that a software driver is no longer needed, the programming is thereby carried out independently of the development environment. · Ideal for driving any stepper motor control card
